Results by business appear here after the first round. Until then every listed roofer shows “Not tested yet” on its own page, and the rows will be listed alphabetically so this page cannot be read as a second ranking.
One enquiry. A dated result.
- Once a quarter we send one standard enquiry to every listed roofer, using the contact details on its public profile. The enquiry is: "roof restoration, 3-bed tiled roof".
- We log the hours to the first reply, whether a ballpark figure came back, and the figure.
- We wait 7 days before we call a business "no reply".
- One test per business per quarter, and never more. Replies are not part of the score. They show as a dated badge on each listing.
- The enquiry is the same for every business so results compare fairly. We do not tell businesses in advance.
- Opt out: tell us and we will stop testing that business and mark it "opted out of testing".
- Correction: if we got a result wrong, tell us and we will check the log and fix it.
